The calculation must be precise and consistent with the actual situation. The common methods of calculating the amount of silt are section method, DEM digital elevation model method, the grid method, the regional earthwork balance method and the average height method. This paper takes the method of square grid as an example to discuss the dredging of volume calculation of Xiang Lake.
