As we all know, the dilemma caused by heavy metals is inevitable in sludge compost. The study presented in this paper introduced the form and content of heavy metals contained in sludge in China. Besides, the deactivation of heavy metals resulting from compost and passivator was analyzed as well. Last but not least, the impact of compost on the change of metal form was investigated.%污泥中的重金属问题是污泥及污泥堆肥不可回避的问题，本文介绍了我国污泥重金属的含量和主要形态，堆肥以及钝化剂对污泥中重金属的钝化效果和原理以及堆肥的使用对土壤中重金属形态变化的影响。
