The the Chinese excellent traditional moral concepts, whose core includes these thoughts such as "love, the people, credibility, justice, integration, great harmony", are the inexhaustible sources of strength for Chinese nation, and are also the essence support for the Chinese nation standing in the world. Young college students are the builders and successors of the future development of a country or a nation, so to strengthen the college student’s Chinese excellent traditional moral education can help them form the excellent moral and social ethics for the good deeds, and provide ideological basis and spiritual motivation for the future development of the state and the nation. Based on the questionnaire survey, this paper analyzes the current situation and reasons of Chinese traditional moral education of college students, and puts forward effective educational countermeasures.%以“讲仁爱、重民本、守诚信、崇正义、尚和合、求大同”等思想为核心的中华优秀传统道德观念，是中华民族取之不尽用之不竭的力量源泉，是中华民族屹立于世界民族之林的精髓支柱。青年大学生是一个国家、一个民族未来发展的建设者和接班人，加强大学生中华优秀传统道德教育，有利于大学生形成向上向善的优秀道德及社会伦理思想，为国家和民族未来的发展提供思想基础和精神动力。本文在问卷调查的基础上分析了当前高校大学生中华优秀传统道德教育的现状及原因，并结合当前高校教育教学实际提出了有效的教育对策。
