The instrument measuring the power consumption of the module simulations the real runtime environment of the communication module. Then it measures the power consumption of the module by recurrently collecting the peak. It is an integrative testing instrument which can measure the dynamic power consumption, the static power consumption and the output voltage of the interface in the open drain mode. It can measure all kinds of module such as the state Grid standard electrical meter, the controlled terminal device, the concentrator and the collector.
