The application of reactive power compensation device in the traction substation of electrified railway is introduced. The technical characteristics and performance of the reactive power compensation system are analyzed. The dynamic reactive power compensation plans of TCR can quickly and effectively reactive the idle work of power compensation system and improve the quality of the electric energy and economic benefits of running of the traction power supply system.
