China's private economy is an important part of national economic reform. But with the unceasing change of international economic situation, the competition and financial crisis of the global large multinational companies are intensified, the disadvantages of private enterprise development pattern gradually revealed. This paper takes Nantong private economy as the example to put forward that the enterprises should adapt to the changes of current environment in new situation. Only through the reform and innovation of themselves can the enterprise improve market competitiveness. This is the new requirements of private enterprises in the current new situation. Only in this way can break the bottleneck of enterprise development, make the private enterprises gradually has the steady and healthy development track.%我国民营经济是国家经济改革的重要组成部分。但是，随着国际经济形势的不断变化，面临着全球性大型跨国企业的竞争和金融危机的加剧，民营企业发展模式的弊端逐渐显露出来。本文以南通民营经济为例提出企业要适应当前新形势下环境的变化，企业只有通过自身实现改革创新，才能提高市场竞争力，这是当前新形势下对民营企业提出的新要求。只有这样才能打破限制企业发展的瓶颈，最终使民营企业逐渐走上稳步健康的发展轨道。
