Roadheader is a main equipment of modern coal mine production, whose performance directly affects the high yield and high efficiency of quick tunneling. According to the failure form and application situation of transmission parts, structural parts, sealing parts and other key components materials of the roadheader in engineering, this article studies their material properties, and tries to improve the overall reliability of roadheader combined with the development trend of new materials, new craft, and new technology, starting from wear resistant design, composite material selection, advanced heat treatment and surface strengthening technology.%掘进机是煤矿现代化生产的主要设备之一,其性能的优劣,直接关系着矿井能否实现高产高效快速掘进的关键。根据掘进机传动部件、结构部件、密封部件等关键部件材料在工程应用中的失效形式及应用现状,研究其材料的性能,并结合新材料、新工艺、新技术的发展趋势,从耐磨设计、复合材料选用、先进热处理、表面复合强化技术等入手,提高掘进机的整机可靠性。
