High voltage circuit breakers plays a very important role in the power system. It can not only cut off the high voltage circuit or closed-load current and load current, but also cut off the overload current and short-circuit current through the role of protection devices when the system has fault. It can be said of the merits of its operating performance will directly related to the stability of the line or electrical equipment operation. This paper through analyzing the common faults in the operation of high voltage circuit breaker to find commonalities and processing methods, so as to increase the maintenance level of high voltage equipment and better ensure reliable operation of the power system.%高压断路器在电力系统中起着十分重要的作用。它不仅可以切断或闭合高压电路中的空载电流和负荷电流，而且当系统发生故障时通过继电器保护装置作用，切断过负荷电流和短路电流。可以说其运行性能的优劣，直接关系到线路或者用电设备运行的稳定性。本文主要通过对高压断路器运行中常见的故障加以总结分析，以便找到其中的共性和处理方法，从而提高对高压设备的维护水平以更好的保证电力系统的可靠运行。
