The rapid development of Internet technology requires high bandwidth network. The traditional network transmission line, with copper as the transmission medium, cannot satisfy people's needs for the bandwidth. In order to speed up the development of broadband in China and meet people's requirements, FTTx has begun on a large scale deployments, so intelligent optical distribution network (iODN, Intelligent ODN) has also got attention of operators and manufacturers. The composition, function and development status in China are introduced in this paper and it also analyzes the future development of iODN.%互联网技术的高速发展需要高带宽的网络。以铜为传输介质的传统网络传输线路已远远不能满足人们对于带宽的需求。为了加快我国宽带的发展，满足人们日益增长的宽带要求，FTTx已开始进行了大规模部署，因此智能光纤配线网（iODN，Intelligent ODN）也得到各大运营商和生产商的极大关注。本文介绍了iODN的组成、功能以及在中国的发展情况，并对iODN未来的发展进行分析。
