In view of college students, lack of interest in mathematics study, and poor ability in the application of mathematical knowledge to solve practical problem, a "3W" teaching mode is constructed, whose main line is "what", "why" and "how". Finally, it gives some examples to illustrate the teaching mode in college mathematics teaching.%针对大学数学教学中存在的学生学习兴趣不高、用数学知识解决实际问题的能力较弱等问题，构建了以“设疑（What）”、“质疑（Why）”和“释疑（How）”为主线的“3W”教学模式，并通过实例说明了该教学模式在大学数学教学中的应用。
