Auto-stereoscopic display technology enables users to see clear stereoscopic images with naked eyes at different locations in front of a display screen. Based on the patent documents in the field of the auto-stereoscopic display technology, the present paper provides statistic analysis results of the patents whole changing circumstance in the field, introduces the technology development of the patents according to some typical patent documents, analyzes technique characteristics of patents for the main patent applicants, and thus forecasts the patent technology development trend for the future.
