Being the largest hyilropowcr project in lancang River basin, the Nuozhadu Hydropower Station ranks lop in the world in its structural scales of water retaining, discharging, water diversion for power generation and river diversion, as well as its conslruction difficulty. The key technical points in hydraulic structure layout, main structures, quality control, environmental protection and security monitoring are introduced herein, and the major monitoring items in early water-storage stage are also analyzed.
