Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest(OHCA)is widely recognized as a global health issue.However,little is known about OHCA epidemiology in the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics(USSR)territories.[1,2]The15 post-Soviet states occupy nearly one-sixth of the land surface of the earth,and the total population exceeds 292 million people.
