The evaluation of the effectiveness, usage and usability of Web-based systems has become a major issue. In this presentation we describe our experiences in developing and testing a system known as the VULab (“Virtual Usability Laboratory”). The objective of our work was to develop a system to support the collection and analysis of a range of types of usage data.
