摘要

BackgroundThe submental flap is a reliable alternative to microsurgical reconstruction of facial deformities, providing an excellent cosmetic match with the contour and color of the face. In this study, we evaluated submental flap design by employing near-infrared (NIR) fluorescence angiography to identify perforator arteries (PAs). The impact of the number of preserved PAs on flap perfusion and venous drainage were quantified.
