Nissa Darbonne will be the keynote speaker at the AAPG 2021 Global Super Basins Leadership Conference to be held Jan. 25-26. Darbonne is the editor-at-large for Oil and Gas Investor, and the author of "The American Shales," a history of the U.S. shale plays, their founders and their leaders. She will present, "Shale 2021: The Next Era In U.S. Tight-Rock Development" at 8 a.m. on Jan. 25. Her address will discuss "the uninvited war on oil and gas demand in 2020" and its long-term implications for U.S. shale production, among other related topics.
