Environmental concerns have led to tightened regulations on industrial wastewater disposal. The problem is compounded by water shortages in many parts of the world. The traditional textile industry consumes a huge amount of water. The introduction of innovative water saving technologies is a must, with the eventual goal of zero wastewater emissions from the dyeing plant at an affordable cost.
