Five student researchers participated in the 2011 Herman and Myrtle Goldstein Student Paper Competition. Each was required to submit a written paper and make an oral presentation at AATCC's International Conference. This year, the entrants also answered questions about their work from the audience. The competition is an excellent opportunity for undergrad and graduate students to share their research with colleagues. All those making an oral presentation receive a cash prize of up to US$1,000.
