Since January 2005, AATCC's governing body has been its board of directors. While a few of its members are appointed, most are elected. As we enter 2008, we begin a new cycle of nominations and elections that will fill positions on the board for 2009. Currently, Fred Cook is president-elect, and on 1 January 2009, he will automatically become president, while I, just as automatically, will become "immediate past president." We need to elect a new "president-elect" to start the cycle anew. We will also elect regional board members.
