摘要

The Delta CS24D Color Sensor can be taught to recognize and distinguish among up to 15 colors to ensure that the proper color components are being processed. The company says it is particularly useful for color detection on textured and other difficult materials. The sensor sorts colors using 24 ultra-bright light-emitting diodes (LEDs) ranging from blue to near-infrared. The large sensing area and diffuse LED lighting allows the sensor to make accurate matches regardless of surrounding color or ambient light. Components can be sorted by color only, color and intensity, or using the "teach" data. Results are communicated via four discrete outputs. The CS24D and accompanying software is available in several models with a variety of sensing areas and standoff distances.
