This two-part paper discusses several aspects of wrinkle resistance technology for cellulosic fabric. Part Ⅰ reviews the basics of wrinkle formation and the pros and cons of various wrinkle resistance mechanisms. The second part will cover existing wrinkle-resistant finishing technologies, and possible applications of nanotechnology to wrinkle-resistant finishing systems.
