In recognition for his outstanding service to the Association,AATCC has named Fred L.Cook this year's recipient of The Harold C.Chapin Award.Cook,a native of Jackson,Ga.,holds a BS in textile chemistry and a PhD in organic/polymer chemistry,with a minor in chemical engineering,both from the Georgia Institute of Technology (GIT).
