Welcome to the December 2013 Book and Resource Reviews (BRR) section. The title above is not meant to send the message that this section and the reviews published in it are a joke. Rather, it is meant to showcase the diverse set of tools and topics available to us as management educators. Experimenting with new platforms, programs, and teaching tools is a significant part of what we do as practitioners of higher education. With every new innovation comes a new opportunity for learning. Although not every innovation will have an application that we find useful in management education, the only way to identify those that are useful is through active exploration and experimentation. I was recently reminded of this when I read an article in the Wall Street Journal titled "New Twist on Ph.D Degrees: Scientists Bust a Move as They Bring Their Dissertations to Life Through Dance" (Hotz, 2013).
