摘要

I am honored to be writing this editorial. The Academy of Management Learning and Education (AMLE) is an outstanding journal with a vital role in the Academy and, more broadly, in the scholarly efforts of all management educators. The former editors of the journal-Ben Arbaugh, James Bailey, and Roy Lewicki-each made their mark improving the status and operations of the journal. With the help of their associate editors and the support of Academy volunteers and staff, they recruited dedicated board members, solicited thoughtful and rigorous scholarship, offered opportunities and guidance to emerging scholars, and established a routine of excellence with regard to journal operations. I will do my best to honor their hard work and accomplishments by continuing these traditions.
