What are the biggest opportunities in the cloud for accounting firms? Firms have a huge opportunity to grow multiple practice areas as more clients transition from spreadsheets and on-premise systems to cloud-based financials. By adding cloud capabilities, firms benefit in diverse ways, from simply expanding their portfolio of solutions to providing various degrees of cloud transformation services. And this also improves client service levels with transparent, on-demand access to financials for all authorized parties. That drives tight collaboration and higher client satisfaction, and means that firms can deliver more strategic, value-added services. Firms that don't adopt a cloud approach stand to lose business to more progressive competitors, and will sacrifice time and money by using outdated manual systems to handle account reconciliations, consolidation, financial close, tax compliance and more.
