We're just weeks away from ringing in the New Year and the official start of tax season, and it's shaping up to be a nail-biter as President Trump's tax reform proposal casts a cloud of uncertainty over the upcoming season. The fate of the various bills in Congress remained unclear as of press time; for now, practitioners are proceeding with business as usual and hoping for the relatively quiet season that many had initially anticipated.
