Details: Auburn-based Machen McChesney has acquired Wolf & Taunton, a Montgomery-based accounting firm, effective Dec. 1, 2015. The deal came as a result of the firm leaders' alumni connections in their hometown. Wolf & Taunton was formed by Bobby Taunton, who will continue to head the Montgomery office, and the recently retired Marcus Wolf.
