A rebranding effort over the past year gave Bellevue, Wash., CPA firm Sweeney Conrad pause to reflect on the 36-year-old firm's mission and values. Established by five Seattle-based accountants from national firms and soon joined by a sixth, Sweeney Conrad carved out an identity for the practice that would grow to over $11 million in revenue and earn them the top spot in the Midsized Firm category of the 2016 Best Firms to Work For. That defining concept, encapsulated in the firm's "People first" slogan, focused on three specific groups: employees, clients and community.
