The accounting profession has long been built around selling time, a practice so engrained in the industry's culture that tossing away the time sheets seems nearly unfathomable. But some professionals are urging just that. The industry is in the midst of a revolution, and the firms of the future are taking steps to further leverage their value and expertise both in the form of value pricing and knowledge management. "Selling time really conflicts with knowledge management, at least in approach.
