SAP is rolling out a series of niche products for its Business One software with 20 already in the field and another 15 microvertical applications planned for release this year. Products already launched include field service for oil and gas and retail for shoe stores and retail for liquor stores, according to Ralf Mehnert-Meland, global senior director of software solutions partners for SAP. Mehnert-Meland said the company, which has about 170 resellers with 200 locations, also plans to recruit specialized VARs.
