摘要

Audit workflow today is governed by the generation, sharing, and compilation of information. This information takes many forms but more and more frequently, is electronic. Excel spreadsheets, emails, scanned receipts, invoices - the list goes on and the benefits are obvious. However, electronic documents can fall short when they need to be shared in an unwired environment (e.g. the mobile audit team). In days of old, it was simple to share a paper-based report with your colleague across the table. This is not such a trivial task when the document is an electronic document stored on your hard drive. Common solutions include hub and cables, USB thumb drives, disks or CD's, or if available, email. Fortunately, 802.11 wireless has come on the scene in the last few years and offers a wonderful solution.
