I am enthusiastic about space exploration and development. I believe that the National Space Society has an important role in defining our space destiny, not just by its promotion of space policy, but also by energizing and involving its members and the public in support of local, national, and international space efforts. I appreciate the Nominations Committee's recognition of my heavy involvement in promoting space in my community, as I want to help apply the lessons learned on the national level.
