摘要

Room-temperature (RT) ferromagnetism is an essential part of modern magnetic storage devices and spintronics Despite the advances that have been made in the development of high-temperature ferromagnetic materials their high-density concentrations of magnetic ions as well as very poor solubility are unavoidable. Therefore, there is a scientific and practical need to develop a new class of ferromagnetic materials capable of solubilization in conventional organic solvents for the sake of ease of handling and processing. In other words, there is a need to find new RT or higher temperature ferromagnetic materials that can easily be fabricated into well-defined structures, preferably at the molecular level.
