摘要

Semiconductor nanocrystals have generated strong interest in recent times because of the possibility to tune their properties by controlling their size, shape, surface morphology, and self-assembly.PbS semiconducting nanocrystals have fantastic potential in opto-electronic applications because of their strong absorption cross-section, strong quantum confinement of both electrons and holes, and a tunable band gap from the near-infrared (IR) to the visible spectral region.
