Q : Can you explain WTI, Weapons and Tactics Instructors course, briefly? A : There is a Marine Corps Order called WTTP, Weapons and Tactics Training Program ana in that order, MAWTS-1 was created to make WTI, Weapons and Tactics Instructor course, with the charter to produce a certain amount of training officers for each Marine Corps unit. WTI is for MAGTF, Marine Air-Ground Task Force, and we have two hundreds to two hundred fifty students for each WTI. They, Weapons and Tactics Instructor, go back to the unit and serve as training officer. They go in obviously tactically profession and in their skill sets. They can teach their own area and then also, because of WTI, they know how rest of MAGTF work. So they know how to train their unit and what should be trained for their unit to integrate into rest of MAGTF.
