John X. Tsirimokos, 80, passed away on 18 October 2012. Mr. Tsirimokos went to Boston University and MIT, earning a master's degree in aeronautical engineering. He began a notable aeronautical career as a field engineer with Sperry Corporation, then worked for North American Aviation in Columbus, OH, and moved to San Diego in 1960, having joined Convair. In 1965, he worked in Philadelphia for Boeing Vertol.
