In short, if last year's conference had as its centrepiece the celebrations around 100 years of the RAF, this year the event is firmly back to business, with the goal of stimulating debate and asking challenging questions about air power that push the boundaries and that encompass everything from military Al to 'fake news'. To paraphrase Trotsky - 'you may not be interested in multi-domain operations and sub-threshold conflict - but they are interested in you.'
