As part of a restructuring and integration plan in December, EADS, (now rebranded the Airbus Group) announced it is to cut some 5,800 jobs across its defence and space divisions between now and 2016. The firm will also sell-off its Paris HO-The companty blames falling military sales for the decision, with CEO Tom Enders saying: "We need to improve our competitiveness in defence and space-and we need to do it now"
