A group of former NASA executives has announced plans to launch a private mission to the Moon. Using existing rocket and capsule technology, the Golden Spike Company is offering two-person trips to the Moon for $i-4bn. Led by former NASA administrator Alan Stern, the company is marketing its services within and outside the US and aims to have its first launch before 2020.
