Currently, Airbus has three single-aisle aircraft final assembly lines around the world with a fourth under construction. Two are located in Toulouse and Hamburg while a fourth is under construction in Alabama in the US. The third final assembly line is in Tianjin, a city of 14·1 m people, 100km south of Beijing, where components and assemblies from Airbus factories around the world are put together to construct A319s and A320s for the Chinese market.
