Six crew and 73 passengers escaped death when a Kyrgyzstan Airlines Tu-134 landed and overturned in a heavy landing in poor visibility and thick fog, in Osh, Kyrgyzstan, on 28 December. Seven people were reported to be injured in the incident which also saw one wing ripped off the aircraft.
