As Aerospace International goes to press, SpaceX has again postponed the launch of its Dragon capsule to the International Space Station (ISS) to 19 May. The launch of the unmanned Dragon spacecraft by Falcon 9 rocket, which is already running three months late, was orginally sched- uled for 30 April. The launch will take place from Cape Canaveral and will be the first private cargo spacecraft to dock with the ISS. The European Space Agency (ESA) has signed a £245m contract with EADS Astrium UK to build a new space probe to research the Sun. The Solar Orbiter (SolO), set to launch in 2017, will travel closer to the Sun than any previous spacecraft.
