NASA has awarded Commercial Crew integrated Capability (CCiCap) contracts, worth a total value of Sl-lbn, to three aerospace firms to develop manned spacecraft to transport its astronauts to the ISS following the retirement of the Space Shuttle. The contracts went to Boeing ($460m), SpaceX ($440m) and Sierra Nevada($212-5m).
