The Society's Library was recently presented by Steve Rubinstein, CEng, MRAeS, with a large collection of photographs, a number of which related to the 1951 American demonstration flights of the English Electric Canberra, originally from the collection of Flight Sergeant S.W. Smith.rnThe Librarian would also like to acknowledge the kind donations of A.C. Kermode's personal annotated copy (prior to the revised third edition) of An Introduction to Aeronautical Engineering: Vol 1 - Mechanics of Flight (London: Sir Isaac Pitman & Sons, Ltd. 1934 -Second edition) [Presented by Ian Wigmore]; Captain AlbertrnBall, VC, DSO (two bars), MC, Croix de Chevalier, Legion d'Honneur, Russian Order of St George: a Historical Record by R.H.
