According to our sources, SNPC managingdirector Raoul Ominga was back inMoscow in September to talk with Russianpartners over the construction of an oilproducts pipeline running between Pointe-Noire and Brazzaville ( AEI 843). Omingahas met with representatives of the privateLukoil, which plans to invest in the structure,as well as the project partner, Russian pipelinespecialist TMK. TMK, which has beenheaded since June by former Mechel executiveIgor Korytko, signed a memorandumof understanding with SNPC in May 2019in the presence of Russian presidentVladimir Putin and his Congolese counterpartDenis Sassou Nguesso.
