After the Petroleum Agency of South Africa turned down its first application to explore for shale gas in the Karoo basin, Bundu Gas & Oil didn't take no for an answer.rnAcquired early this year by Australia's Sunset Energy, the South African junior Bundu Gas & Oil has been squabbling for over a year with the inhabitants and safari operators in the Graaff Reinet region in Eastern Cape province (AEI 600/605). Bundu wants to explore shale gas reserves in the region, and that could have an impact on the environment and thus the area's livelihood.
