He had been the Professor in the Agricultural Engineering Department of the Polytechnic University of Madrid, SPAIN since 1975.rnPreviously, he was a Professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia for 4 years. He has a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a Master of Engineering from the University of California at Davis. He had served as Chairman of the Agricultural Engineering Department during the periods of 1981-1989 and 1993-1997.
