XPO Logistics' second-quarter results for 2016 leave no doubt that the company has turned a corner towards profitability, after years of losses due to acquisitions and restructuring. The supply chain logistics company's gross revenues increased 202.9 percent, year-over-year, in Q2 2016 to US $3.7 billion. Net income attributable to common shareholders was $42.6 million for the quarter, compared to a net loss of $75.1 million for the same period in 2015. Over the first half of 2016, XPO reported total revenue of $7.2 billion, a 276.7 percent increase over the first half 2015.
