CANADA'S VIKING Air and Mahindra Aerospace have agreed to form a strategic alliance to boost regional air connectivity in India. The two parties will support each other's non-competing aircraft businesses by offering potential customers "multiple options based on specific operational requirements". Viking Air produces the Twin Otter Series 400 19-passenger utility turboprop. Mahindra Aerospace currently produces the Airvan 8 utility piston and Airvan 10 utility turboprop aircraft and plans to offer ski and float-equipped variants of both aircraft.
