General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Incorporated (GA-ASI) announced on April 6, 2018 that it has been awarded a contract under the US Government's Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programme for the UK's MQ-9B Protector Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA). The $81 million contract with the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Centre covers integration and component level testing for the UK specific enhancements made to the system.
